INO RECORDS COLLABORATES WITH CHURCHES NATIONWIDE FOR THE RELEASE OF THE CATALYST MUSIC PROJECT

BEST OF TODAY’S LOCAL CHURCH CULMINATES IN ALBUM FEATURING PERFORMANCES FROM PHIL WICKHAM, LAURA STORY, FEE, HEATHER WILLIAMS AND MORE

NASHVILLE, TN…2/11/10…INO Records and Catalyst, a leadership development organization, recently joined forces to create the Catalyst Music Project – an album inspired by churches and songwriters nationwide.

Acknowledging that it was time to let the Church show the world what songs are impacting this generation, INO Records asked worship leaders and songwriters to submit music that was already connecting in their communities and churches – ultimately permitting the voice of the people to be heard. More than 350 worship leaders and songwriters submitted 750 songs – from which the Catalyst Music Project emerged.

Produced by Nathan Nockels (Phillips, Craig & Dean, Passion and Matt Redman), the resulting Catalyst Music Project features 12 organic anthems performed by the creators and worship leaders, along with artists like Phil Wickham, Laura Story, Fee and Heather Williams.

Jeremiah Jones, writer of “What A Savior” – the first radio single released from the Catalyst Music Project – says, “While there have been countless inspired worship songs produced for the Church by the music industry, it's refreshing to hear well-worn, time tested songs written by local leaders.”

Released to radio on January 15, 2010, “What A Savior” – featuring Laura Story – is already being played on more than 30 radio stations nationwide. INO Records and Catalyst are streaming a preview of the album, as well as offering the single and the accompanying chord chart as free downloads, at http://buzzplant.com/catalyst/ecard1/.
