More than 30 performers from all styles of Christian/gospel music make up this year's GMA Music in the Rockies Soundstage Concert Series that will take place Aug. 3-8 in Estes Park, Colo. Tickets for the six nights of concerts are now sale at gma.ticketforce.com or by calling the GMA office at 800-GMA-3211 (800-462-3211). Individual nightly tickets are available for $10 per night and series tickets for all six nights for just $50. Premiere Artist and Gold Circle seating options also are available.
This year's artist line-up for the Rockies Soundstage Concert Series includes Jared Anderson, Vicky Beeching, Travis Cottrell, Switchfoot's Jon Foreman, 4HIM's Mark Harris, Brandon Heath, Israel & New Breed, Kutless, Mandisa, Justin McRoberts, MercyMe, Kendall Payne, pureNRG, Alli Rogers, Robbie Seay Band's Robbie Seay, Shane & Shane, Chris Sligh, Stellar Kart, Trin-i-tee 5:7, Jaci Velasquez, Nickel Creek's Sean Watkins, Bryan White and Joy Williams. Also performing will be illusionist Brock Gill, HearItFirst.com contest winners Nathan Arnold and Generation Letter, the KIDS KAMP Choir and the winners of the GMA Academy National Competition for aspiring artists and songwriters. Each night's line up offers something different as Sunday will be a worship night, there will be two songwriter-driven nights and Friday night's show will competitors from the GMA Academy National Competition taking the stage in front of the audience and celebrity judges Joy Williams; renowned performance coach Tom Jackson and Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts’ producer Mark Bright. Tuesday night's show also includes a preview screening of the new movie “Fireproof,” starring Kirk Cameron, which will be released in movie theaters nationwide in September. It's not too late to enter either the Artist or Song of 2008 competition, but the entry deadline for the Song competition is June 30. Competition materials and registration for GMA Music in the Rockies must be received by the GMA office by this date to be eligible. Click here for more information.
The Rockies Soundstage Concert Series is just part of the GMA Music in the Rockies experience and as an added bonus, this year's ticket holders also will receive access to After Dark events held in conjunction with GMA Music in the Rockies, including Café Estes which features performances by independent artists and S’More Worship, acoustic outdoor (weather permitting) worship.
