FAMILY FORCE 5 HITS THE FALL TOUR CIRCUIT WITH “BUSINESS UP FRONT, PARTY IN THE BACK”

(Nashville, Tenn.) September 18th, 2006 –Maverick/Gotee band Family Force 5, along with Mono VS Stereo act House Of Heroes and American/Warner Bros.’ Luna Halo, will hit the road next week and tour their current debut release Business Up Front, Party In The Back.

With nearly 25 dates confirmed already and additional shows to be added, the tour meets the increasing popular demand for Family Force 5’s crunk rock sound. The band was most recently part of the Journeys Backyard BBQ Tour and Van’s Warped Tour. They also made the rounds at major Christian music festivals this summer including Ichthus, Alive, and Cornerstone, and overseas at the Frizon and Flevo festivals, two of the largest European music gatherings.

Polish up your dancing shoes for the Skulls and Diamonds tour!” says front man Solomon Olds. “Breakdance, not hearts!”

Family Force 5 has seen an onslaught of media exposure this year including performances on CBS TV’s The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, and 2 performances on DIRECTV’s CD USA, as well as music video exposure on MTVU.com. Family Force 5 nabbed a #1 spot on both R&R’s Christian Rock chart, as well as the Christian Radio Weekly Rock chart with their radio single “Replace Me.”

Led by front man and guitarist Solomon Olds (aka Soul Glow Activator), Family Force 5 includes Solomon’s two brothers Jacob Olds (aka Crouton) on drums/vocal, and his twin Joshua Olds (aka Fatty) on bass/vocals. The force of five is rounded out by Nathan Currin (aka Nadaddy) on keyboard and Derek Mount (aka Chap Stique) on guitar. Family Force 5, who has dubbed their brand of music as “crunk rock”, likes to focus on feel-good, party music.

House of Heroes, at home on the MVS sister label to Gotee, is currently touring in support of their latest offering Say No More. The rock trio—Jared Rigsby (bass/vocals), Colin Rigsby (drums/vocals) and Tim Skipper (vocals/guitar)-- have just finished a successful national tour with Relient K, and The Rocket Summer, as well as dates with MxPx, Mae and Over It.
