Flicker Records Goes Punk With New Band Eleventyseven

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Dec. 19, 2005-Flicker Records ventures into the punk rock arena with its first such signing, three-member band eleventyseven. The group will release its debut label project nationally on March 21.

Matt Langston (lead vocals, guitar), Caleb Satterfield (bass), and Jonathan Stephens (drums) have been cranking out their brand of teenage, fun-frenzied music for nearly four years. Greenville, South Carolina has served as home base for the band, which quickly expanded its domain to include a majority of the East Coast. With three well-received independent releases already to its credit, the trio has maintained a non-stop touring schedule, proof of its extreme likeability and work ethic.

"Flicker Records has been looking for an artist to represent the punk genre for some time now," comments label vice president and general manager, Troy Vest. "eleventyseven offers an ideal combination of serious musicianship and crazy playfulness that is Flicker Records."

Additional details on the band's March project will follow. In the meantime, eleventyseven is practicing for its appearance on a hot-ticket tour to launch early 2006.
